I have a passion for nature, staged, and cinematic photography. Within each photo I creatively choreograph and design scenes that engages both subject matter and background. I often work to visually transform natural or man-made spaces by composing images with cinematic or surreal qualities. I experiment with the ambiance and elements in each location to push the limits of my work to create visual narratives. I have an appreciation for beauty in the things we frequently pass over or do not see in life. I constantly think about frame, composition, and materials I can use from the world to create images that accentuate the beautiful and the distinctive.I was born and raised in Chicago, IL. Currently, I am photographer based in New York City. For my education, I graduated the College of Charleston in 2019 with a bachelors in studio art. Shortly after in July of 2020, I graduated from the Creative Practices Certificate program at the International Center of Photography in New York City. I have exhibited my artwork at the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art in Charleston in 2018 & 2019 and at the International Center of Photography in 2022. I have worked with wedding photographers at Gerber and Scarpelli Weddings in Chicago and with Gruber Photographers, a luxury wedding and event photography company in New York City.
